Ms. Porpiglia is an alumnus of The Draper Center and was a company member with the Rochester City Ballet from 2005-2012. She performed many exciting roles in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Peter & the Wolf, as well as being featured in many original works under the direction of Jamey Leverett, including The Blood Countess, Push & Pull, How to Break a Heart, Luma Voce, & 4Play just to name a few.

Ms. Porpiglia graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 2009. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Currently, Kaitlin Porpiglia, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist who practices at a local outpatient community mental health clinic in Rochester, NY. She serves a diverse population and works with individuals, couples, and families with a wide range of presenting concerns including: anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, family transitions, parenting, etc. Ms. Porpiglia also facilitates several forms of group therapy including psychoeducational groups and interpersonal process groups.
