Tina Cannon

Currently, Tina is a dancer with Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour. It’s a combination of a cirque show and a rock concert all in one, featuring some of Michael Jackson’s original musicians with artists of all different disciplines from all over the world.

Prior to that , Tina was in Las Vegas dancing for Celine Dion in her show “A New Day” for 6 years. Then she was in Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles LOVE show for 4 and a half years.

Gratefully throughout Tina’s career she has had the opportunity to perform in all different types of styles, shows and venues. For example, Tina was in dance companies like Hubbard Street and River North, to Broadway shows like Fosse, and movies like James Cameron’s 3D “Worlds Away”.

Tina says there are so many different avenues you can go down and she just wants to encourage all of you who love dance or performing that there is a place for all of you! “And Draper Dance Center is a great training base for whichever path you choose!”
