Alla Nikitina

Character dance master teacher and choreographer with over 35 years of experience, Ms. Nikitina was trained at the Donetsk School of Ballet, Ukraine and the State University of Culture and Art in St. Petersburg, Russia. She has worked with the leading dance companies in Russia and Ukraine.

In 1997, she moved to the US and began teaching at the Hartford Ballet and BFA Dance Division of the University of Hartford.

In 2008, Ms. Nikitina joined the faculty of Boston Ballet School, where she currently works.

She has been a welcomed guest teacher at a number of professional dance schools across the country and abroad and is regarded as one of the foremost character dance teachers in the U.S.

Ms. Nikitina is the recipient of many awards, including the prestigious I. Nechuy-Levytsky Ukrainian National Award.
