Bailey Fantauzzo trained at the prestigious Timothy M. Draper Center for Dance Education under Jamey Leverett, performing in productions such as The NutcrackerCarmen, and Cinderella. She furthered her training with summer intensives at The Juilliard School, American Ballet Theatre, Atlanta Ballet, and Nashville Ballet, and later majored in Ballet Performance at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music.

She went on to dance professionally with Nashville Ballet, appearing in Giselle, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Carmina Burana, and a variety of contemporary works. She also toured nationally with Common Thread Contemporary Dance in St. Louis, MO, where she worked closely with renowned choreographer Jessica Lang.

Bailey has taught and choreographed across the country. She most recently served as a Ballet Instructor and Rehearsal Assistant at Ballet Hawaii in Honolulu,HI and Kailua Dance Academy in Kailua,HI. Prior to that, she was the Assistant Director of Arts Ballet Academy in Newport News, VA, where she choreographed numerous full-length ballets and original works including The NutcrackerSnow WhiteThe Little MermaidAlice in WonderlandThe Snow Queen, and Emergence. She also served as Dance Director at Ware Academy in Gloucester, VA, leading interdisciplinary productions in collaboration with the school’s music department.

Now back in her hometown of Rochester, Bailey is thrilled to be on faculty at the Timothy M. Draper Center for Dance Education, where her journey first began. In addition to teaching, she serves as the Managing Director of Draper Center’s Ballet Jumpstart Program — an outreach initiative bringing free Creative Movement classes and ballet demonstrations to libraries and museums throughout the Rochester community. Bailey is passionate about nurturing the next generation of dancers and expanding access to the arts through meaningful community engagement.
