Priscilla Nathan Murphy
Summer Guest Faculty

Originally from Singapore, she has trained in classical ballet – Royal Academy of Dancing Syllabi – Oriental Dance Mudras, Modern, and Jazz genres. Ms. Nathan-Murphy has a certification from the Royal Academy’s Dance Institution in London, England and has acquired a teaching Diploma from the British Association of Teachers of Dance. She has worked with several artists throughout her career including Rose Eberwein, James Clouser, Kitty Daniels, David Horchoy, Doug Varone, James Sutton, and Nina Watt just to name a few.
Ms. Nathan-Murphy is the recipient of many awards including the National Choreographers Competition and numerous awards given by the National Foundation for the Advancement in the Arts.
Ms. Nathan-Murphy is currently the Principal of the Lower School at Houston Ballet and also freelances as a guest teacher and choreographer.
