Here at Draper Center for Dance Education, we are always excited to have so many of our Alumni come back and visit. We are even more excited that so many have decided to enroll their children for classes here at The Draper Center. As a continuation of our previous post, here are the final featured Alumni, and why they have returned to The Draper Center with their aspiring dancer.

I joined Draper Center as a teen. After attending my first summer intensive, I knew I wanted ballet to be my focus and Draper Center was the place! I remember feeling instantly welcomed (especially by Miss Jamey) and grew so much as a dancer while I was there. I have wonderful memories of dance class and performing. I now have a 3 year old daughter and creative movement at Draper Center has been a perfect introduction to dance for her. Just enough structure with a lot of freedom to explore movement and keep it fun and engaging for little ones. She looks forward to Miss Sammy’s class every week. I chose Draper Center for my daughter because I know her future will be filled with knowledgeable instructors and talented choreographers focusing on classical ballet and proper technique providing her a solid foundation in dance. I also love that she will have a variety of performance opportunities when she is older and ready (not just a yearly recital or competition focus). Dance becomes a second family and I’m positive she will find that here at Draper Center just as I did!

When I decided to sign Serafina up for dance classes it was a no brainer to send her to Draper. As a Draper Alumni I can say from experience that the professional and disciplined environment aided in not only my growth a dancer but also as an individual. At Draper I know Serafina will receive the top training from professional instructors, build confidence and learn proper dance technique. It is so nostalgic for me to see her being trained by the same amazing and dedicated instructors that I received my training from. I look forward to her growing to be a part of the Draper family and exploring the opportunities that the dance world may offer.
