Performed by nearly 70 Draper youth dancers, The Ugly Duckling brings this beloved fairytale to life through music and movement.

Staged by award-winning choreographer Jimmy Orrante, this story ballet follows a young duckling who struggles to find where they belong, only to discover that what once made them feel different is what makes them extraordinary. It’s a message for all ages about resilience, confidence, and becoming who you are meant to be.

Please join us for our Draper Center for Dance Education End of Year Demonstration. An end of year celebratory performance showcasing our students, featuring choreography by our faculty, and highlighting the accomplishments achieved over a year of training featuring dancers from the first level Creative Movement all the way to our Professional Traning Program.
