When our family was planning a move from the Buffalo area to Rochester a couple of years ago, one of our biggest concerns was finding the right dance school for our daughters. Draper Center for Dance Education has met and exceeded every expectation we hoped for. Both students and faculty warmly welcomed Alina and Bella, helping to quickly ease the stress of switching studios. Since then, I have constantly been impressed with the level of respect that abounds. Students respect each other’s talents; students respect the passion and attention to detail that teachers bring to each class to make them better dancers, and the teachers respect and acknowledge the dedication and effort that students put forth each day. This mutual respect, coupled with very high standards and many opportunities for dancers to perform and have fun, creates an environment where dancers flourish. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Alina and Bella rise to the high expectations Draper has set for them, and I have also enjoyed watching their appreciation grow for all The Draper Center offers them.
