When our competition dance studio closed suddenly, I was faced with the daunting task of selecting a new studio from the many great places for kids to dance in Rochester. My daughters were beginning a solid skill set in jazz, tap, hip-hop and ballet. The quality of dance technique and professionalism of Draper dancers that we had seen at competition, both onstage and in a shared dressing room was very impressive. Within the first few weeks of starting at Draper, my daughters loved their classes. ‘I like Draper because I know when I am dancing correctly, and when I am not, they show me the right way,’ is what my daughter said. Their progress with this more personalized attention in one year was simply amazing. While building close friendships with all the students in class, our girls have gained an appreciation for the hard work and dedication that it takes to do professional ballet. We cannot say enough good things about the wonderful teachers and staff at Draper Center.
