“We love the family feeling”

Apr 15, 2021

We chose the Timothy Draper Center for Dance Education for our daughter because of its stellar reputation, the talented and dedicated dance instructors, and the focus on form and technique, even for the littlest dancers. The curriculum prepares students for the next level of dance, yet differentiates to meet the skills and abilities of each dancer.

We love the family feeling that pervades the Draper community. Younger dancers are often invited to observe higher level dance classes to see what they can aspire to as they grow older. Throughout the year Draper also hosts fun holiday events for students, and special performances by the professional dancers in the Rochester City Ballet.

Every year Draper plays a major role in the production of “The Nutcracker” with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the RCB dancers, and young dancers in the Rochester community. We are proud parents of one of those young dancers! It is such a fun and rewarding experience for young children to learn the hard work and dedication it takes to be part of a large community production. It is a magical time of year and we look forward to many more productions!
