Draper Center receives $18,000 from Monroe County!!!

The Timothy M. Draper Center for Dance Education is excited to announce that it has been awarded an $18,000 Midsized Arts Grant from Monroe County for its World Class Dance Education for All programming.
“We are so grateful to receive this generous support from Monroe County. With this support, we are able to give many who would never be exposed to an arts education, an introduction into this world and the many opportunities and benefits a dance education can provide”, states artistic director, Jamey Leverett. “We sincerely believe that by diversifying the art form at its training level, we will continue to grow the diversity among future artists and help ensure ballet’s continued relevance in the 21st century”.
Draper Center’s mission is to provide the highest level of classical ballet and dance training, while adhering to a curriculum that teaches formation of character and stresses standards of excellence, applicable to all areas of life.
